With an emphasis on affordable housing finance, Vickers has over 19 years of experience spanning the public, private, and non‐profit sectors. He has assisted in the programming, selection, underwriting, closing, and project management of well over 100 affordable rental development projects. His body of work extends beyond affordable housing, with commercial real estate lending experience at a national CDFI, and executive management experience. He led the City of Detroit’s affordable housing development and preservation efforts, overseeing a 100% increase in affordable housing production over five years, an achievement recognized in 2023 by Crain’s Detroit Business' 40 Under 40. Vickers advises community builders on the implementation of housing programs and assists clients with identifying the most feasible path for financing affordable housing.
